Why the Bacon?

Why the Bacon? Indeed…why not?  The smell of bacon brings forth the warm and fuzzy feeling of a lazy Sunday morning breakfast.  That is the best kind of start to a busy week.  Unless you’re a vegetarian and in that case, don’t read this cause IMO pigs don’t have feelings.

The title of my blog actually goes way back probably 10 years or so.  A friend of mine once said, “You can bring home the bacon and fry it up in a pan!”  I’ve thought back to that particular phrase over the years and now as a wife and mother of three, I’m very happy to say that I can still bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan, and serve it crispy and hot.

In this blog I hope to capture all the warm and fuzzy aspects of my life such as motherhood, career, friendships and my favorite hobby…cooking.  Which is why you’ll see all the various categories to the left.  As life goes on for me, I’ll post a blog here and there in hopes you’ll be entertained or perhaps persuade you that baked bacon is better than fried bacon.
